What the email contains

Each repair request email contains:

  • The part: part number, brand, repair category, and the number of units.
  • The full problem description written by the buyer.
  • The buyer's files, attached to the email.
  • The buyer's contact details: name, company, email, and phone.

Reply to the buyer

Reply to the email in your mail program, or click Reply to buyer in the email. Your answer goes straight to the buyer - send your quote, questions, or a request for more photos.

Find received requests in the portal

  1. Open Repair services > Received Requests.
  2. Click a request. Its details open: the part, the problem description, the attachments, and the buyer's contact details under From.
  3. Click Reply to Buyer. Your email program opens a reply to the buyer.

Who in your company gets the email

The email goes to:

  • Your Main Sales Contact.
  • The person assigned to a Sales Territory, instead of the main sales contact, if the territory covers the buyer's country.
  • Your Copy of Received RFQs address, as a copy, if you set one.

You set the main sales contact and sales territories in Settings > Sales > Sales Team, and the copy address in Settings > Notifications > RFQ Notifications. These are the same settings that route your RFQs.
